Hyderabad : Cushman and Wakefield Asia Pacific CEO, Mathew , met with a delegation led by CM Revanth Reddy at the Secretariat. IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu, along with other officials, also participated in the meeting. Discussions revolved around the development of Hyderabad Global City and the expansion of various sectors. The Cushman and Wakefield delegation presented their findings, highlighting Greater Hyderabad’s status as the fastest-growing city in India. They reported significant growth in leasing, office space, construction, and residential sectors over the past six months. Their bi-annual report covering major cities across the country will be released by the end of July.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed optimism that Hyderabad will enhance its allure with ongoing projects such as the Moosi revival project, regional ring road, and metro rail expansions. He emphasized that Hyderabad aims not to compete with other Indian cities but to stand alongside renowned global cities. The CM emphasized the rising number of Telanganites in America, suggesting Hyderabad’s development should match cities like New York.
