Hyderabad : Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for the Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) at ITI Mallepally in Hyderabad on Tuesday, June 18. In his speech, CM Reddy highlighted the critical role unemployment played in the formation of Telangana and reiterated his government’s commitment to creating job opportunities for the youth.
He criticized the outdated training programs in government-owned ITIs and announced a major upgrade of 65 ITIs into ATCs at a cost of Rs 2324 crores, in partnership with Tata Company. Emphasizing the importance of technical skills for employment, Reddy called for increased participation from female students and pledged to personally oversee the progress of these initiatives.
He expressed gratitude to Tata management for their collaboration and reaffirmed his dedication to empowering students from middle and lower-class families by providing advanced skill development and employment opportunities.
