Hyderabad : Rachakonda Police Commissioner D.S. Chouhan briefed about the upcoming teachers MLC elections in Telangana, security arrangements and precautions to be taken on the occasion of Ram Navami, Hanuman Jayanti and beginning of the month of Ramzan. Rachakonda Police Commissioner DS Chauhan-IPS held a coordination meeting with DCPs, ACPs and other officers at the commissioner’s office at Neredmet, in this meeting several instructions were given to the officers.
Rachakonda Commissionerate has several sensitive religious places and advised the officers to take strict measures to ensure that peace and security is maintained during various festivals and religious processions. He said that people should celebrate their festivals peacefully and happily and cooperate with the police to avoid any untoward incident. Officials have been directed to exercise caution during events where people participate in large numbers, The officials were directed to keep a tab on the old criminals and take action to ensure that they do not commit any crime.
The officials were directed to take all necessary measures to maintain communal harmony in Rachakonda Commissionerate. Authorities have been directed to take appropriate action against those posting posts inciting communal violence on social media.
