Hyderabad(Jan, 2) : Civil Supplies Commissioner DS Chauhan-IPS conducted an emergency meeting on Tuesday with officials from BPCL, IOCL, and HPCL oil companies to address the ongoing strike by oil tanker drivers. During the meeting, Commissioner DS Chauhan directed officials to take necessary measures to ensure an uninterrupted supply of petrol and diesel. He emphasized discussing the concerns of the striking drivers with empathy, expressing full support for both the oil companies and the drivers.
Commissioner Chauhan urged the drivers to promptly resume their duties to alleviate any potential concerns. As a result of the actions taken by Commissioner DS Chauhan, operations were set in motion, ensuring a resumption of services. He reassured the public that the situation is under control, urging them not to panic, as there will be no shortage of petrol or diesel.
The meeting included the participation of various officials from the Civil Supplies Department and representatives from the oil companies, emphasizing collaboration to address the challenges effectively.
