Hyderabad(Dec, 31) : Telangana Muslim Advocates Forum State President, Waheed Ahmed Advocate, presided over today’s meeting at Tolichowki, Hyderabad. In the presence of General Secretary Khawaja Mohd Ayazuddin Chishti Advocate, Vice President Mir Wajid Ali Khan Advocate, Secretary Mohd Sajid Ali Advocate, and other lawyers, important matters were discussed. During the meeting, State President Waheed Ahmed Advocate urged and demanded collective efforts to influence the Central Government to appoint a Muslim lawyer as a High Court Judge. Additionally, he emphasized the need to advocate for the appointment of a Muslim lawyer as Additional Advocate General in Telangana State.
Waheed Ahmed Advocate expressed concern about the absence of Muslim representation in key positions within the Telangana Government, mirroring the situation at the central level. He underscored the importance of addressing this imbalance, particularly highlighting the omission of a mention of the Muslim community in the governor’s recent declaration.
