Telangana Government Implements Major Police Leadership Changes

Hyderabad(Dec, 12) : The Telangana government has implemented changes in key positions within the police department, announcing new appointments and transfers. Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy assumes the pivotal role of Police Commissioner of Hyderabad, succeeding Sandeep Shandhilya, who, in turn, takes on the responsibility of Director at the Telangana State Narcotics Bureau.

The reshuffling continues with G Sudheer Babu, a member of the IPS batch of 2001, now appointed as the Rachakonda Police Commissioner, and Avinash Mohanthy stepping into the role of Commissioner of Police for Cyberabad. M Stephen Raveendra and D S Chauhan have been directed to report to the Director General of Police (DGP) office. This strategic realignment underscores the government’s commitment to maintaining effective law enforcement across different zones in Telangana.
