Congress Aims to Secure 14 Assembly Seats, Two Parliamentary Seats in Palamuru District
Hyderabad(Sep, 11) : TPCC president Revanth Reddy has strongly criticized the current state of affairs in Telangana, particularly in the Palamuru region. He expressed his concern that the Palamuru migrations are ongoing, and there has been a lack of meaningful development under Chief Minister KCR’s leadership. Revanth Reddy pointed out that the government is announcing the start of the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project on the 16th of this month without completing it, and they are prematurely claiming its completion with only one out of the 31 required pumps installed.
In a significant political move, former MLA Kothakota Sita Dayakar Reddy from Devarakadra constituency joined the Congress along with her supporters. TPCC president Revanth Reddy and AICC in-charge Manik Rao Thackeray warmly welcomed her into the party. Revanth Reddy acknowledged her past support in his political journey and highlighted her role in the region’s development during her tenure as ZP chairman and as an MLA.
Revanth Reddy criticized the current BRS MLAs, alleging that they are more interested in contracts and commissions than the development of Devarakadra. He emphasized the importance of the Congress winning 14 assembly seats and two parliamentary seats in Palamuru district in the upcoming elections.
Revanth Reddy assured that the Congress Party is prioritizing leaders from Mahabubnagar district and pledged full political support to Sita Akka. He confidently stated that the Congress would come to power in the state in the next election, aiming to replace KCR’s government. He also announced the upcoming visit of national leaders, including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Kharge, and others, on the 16th, 17th, and 18th of this month, inviting everyone to attend the Vijaya Bheri event to be held at Tukkuguda Rajiv Gandhi premises on the 17th.
