Industrialists Commit Up To ₹ 13 Lakh Crore Investments At Andhra Summit

Andhra Pradesh CM  Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has called upon all those entering into the MoU to start investing in the state immediately by assuring them of all requisite support.

Addressing the concluding session of the Global Investors Summit (GIS) here on Saturday, he thanked all those who reposed faith in the state government and urged them to expedite the process of setting up industrial units and business establishments for the smooth process of it. advised to bring Reddy announced the formation of a monitoring committee headed by the Chief Secretary with officers from the CMO and Special Chief Secretary (Industries).

The panel will meet once a week and clear investment applications without any hindrance. Meanwhile, Reddy virtually inaugurated 14 industrial units, worth Rs 3,841 crore, with the potential to generate 9,108 jobs. These include Kimberly-Clark, Bluestar, Havells India, Sarada Metals and Alloys. He said that coming up of such units in the State shows the commitment of the government, which is backed by all necessary support including a skilled workforce to help them establish and flourish the units.
