Hyderabad(July, 18) : Today, the inauguration of the new DCP LB Nagar office and Nagol Police Station, under the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, took place. Commissioner DS Chauhan-IPS expressed his satisfaction with the opening of these facilities, emphasizing the relentless efforts of the police to maintain peace and security within the jurisdiction.
He acknowledged the presence of renowned corporate and IT companies in the area, noting that effective round-the-clock patrolling has contributed to controlling crime rates. Special teams have been established to combat drug smuggling and adulterated seeds, resulting in several successful cases. Commissioner Chauhan urged the public to promptly report instances of harassment, such as eve teasing, molestation, chain snatching, and unauthorized vehicle activities, as the police are committed to ensuring a safe environment.
LB Nagar MLA Sudhir Reddy, in his speech, commended the Telangana Police Department for their dedicated service and announced plans for additional police stations to further enhance public welfare. The program witnessed the participation of Joint CP Satyanarayana IPS, Corporator Aruna, DCP LB Nagar Sai Sri-IPS, ACPs, and other officers, alongside public representatives.
