Hyderabad: T-Hub, the world’s largest innovation hub based in Hyderabad, India, recently celebrated its first anniversary with great enthusiasm. The milestone was marked by the successful completion of the second edition of the T-Innovation Summit – Gladiators of the Mind, a flagship event that showcased the remarkable achievements of T-Hub in enabling entrepreneurship in Telangana. The summit also served as the platform for the inauguration of T-Hub 2.0, reaffirming Hyderabad’s position as a global startup destination.
Distinguished dignitaries, including K.T. Rama Rao, Minister for IT, Industries & Commerce and Municipal Administration & Urban Development, and Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of Industries & Commerce and Information Technology, Government of Telangana, graced the exceptional evening named “Gladiators of the Mind.” The event featured renowned scientists and thinkers such as Louise Leakey, Anil Seth, Sir Marcus du Sautoy, and Mahmood Farooqui, creating an electrifying atmosphere of ideas and innovation.
K.T. Rama Rao commended T-Hub for its remarkable achievements in nurturing startups and fostering innovation, emphasizing Telangana’s commitment to becoming a global innovation hub. Jayesh Ranjan added that T-Hub’s efforts have solidified Hyderabad’s position as a preferred destination for entrepreneurs, putting the state at the forefront of entrepreneurship.

Apart from the summit, T-Hub’s ongoing initiative, Innovate Telangana, aims to discover and accelerate promising startups from the state. This initiative provides startups with incubation support, access to value partners, mentors, and grant support, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. The top 10 startups selected from five pitching clusters across Telangana will be invited to T-Hub for incubation under various programs.
T-Hub’s impact on the startup ecosystem in Telangana has been significant, with affiliated startups raising close to USD 1.9 billion in funding and creating over 12,000 jobs. The strong market connections established by these startups further highlight T-Hub’s effectiveness in facilitating growth and market access. Through its comprehensive programs and initiatives, T-Hub has played a crucial role in positioning India, led by Telangana, as a powerhouse of innovation and entrepreneurship on the global stage.
