Hyderabad(July, 5) : On Wednesday, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K.T. Rama Rao conducted a comprehensive review meeting on the Ward Offices system in Hyderabad. The Minister provided guidance on encouraging greater utilization of the system, improving its effectiveness, and engaging with various community associations for closer integration. Senior officials from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) attended the meeting.
KTR emphasized the importance of citizen participation and expressed satisfaction with the increased response to the Ward Offices system. He urged officials to constantly strive for improvement and seamless service delivery. Furthermore, the Minister emphasized preparedness for the monsoon season, with a special focus on sanitation management and collaboration with other departments to address rain-related challenges. KTR encouraged holding lunch meetings with sanitation workers to appreciate their efforts and devise strategies for enhancing cleanliness in the city
