“Farmers Need Not Worry, will Buy All Grains” : Collector Rajarshi Shah

Medak(May, 21) : District Civil Supplies Officer Srinivas visited Sri Venkatraman Rice Mill at Shivampeta Mandal Centre, Pax Centre, Natraj Rice Mill at Gomaram, IKP Center at Chinnagottimukkala, Shiva Sai Rice Mill at Narasapur, Jayakrishna Aluminum Factory which is closed and currently Inspected the grains stored in Mohan Agarwal Sugar Factories and Mohan Agarwal Sugar Factories being used as godowns.

On this occasion, Collector Rajarshi Shah said that farmers need not worry that they will buy every single grain of the grown grains, they should exercise restraint and bring quality grains to centers without moisture and ropes as per FAQ standards. He said that there is no shortage of mine bags and the lorries are being monitored from time to time. In case of any problem, he ordered to arrange vehicles with the help of concerned Tehsildar, Transport Officer and police. Center administrators have been directed to set up all basic facilities at purchase centres, to promptly transport grain to mills where it is weighed and tagged, and to expedite tab entry and ensure money is credited .

The district administration has been fully alerted to complete the process of grain collection within a fortnight as soon as the rainy season arrives in the farmers’ account. He said that all the grain procurement centers of the district were functioning on Sunday as well and so far one and a half lakh metric tones of grain has been purchased.

District Collector Rajarshi Shah said that the farmers are procuring the food grains cultivated with hard work without any delay and all the officers are engaged in the process of purchasing the grains. He said that if the mill owners unload the grain quickly and send the truck immediately, then they can load the grain again and send it.

The millers also said that the grain coming in lorries as per the serial as well as the grain coming in vehicles like tractors and DCMs should also be loaded within 24 hours, so that the procurement process could be expedited. It was clarified to the millers that truck sheets should be issued without any reduction in grain. As the deadline for delivery of custom milled rice pending to the Food Corporation of India is by the end of this month, rice millers at FC Sanath Nagar reached for their target. He said that the grains should be removed.

Circle Special Officer Narsaiyya, Tehsildar Srinivas Chari, Anjaneyu MPP Harikrishna, Shivavampeta MPP, Narsapur, Shivavampeta PACS President Raju Yadav and others were presented along with the Collector.
