“MY AUTO IS SAFE” Awareness Program Organized by Medak Police

Medak(May, 20) : Medak District SP P. Rohini Priyadarshini-IPS started the program “MY AUTO IS SAFE” at the new police ground at Avusulapalli.
On this occasion, Medak SP P. Rohini Priyadarshini-IPS said that this program has been started for the safety and security of the passengers. She also said that every auto driver in the district should install a sticker with a QR code named “MY AUTO IS SAFE” on the rear seat of the driver, which is provided by the police, and it is the responsibility of the drivers to make the passengers believe that they are traveling safely in the auto.

       

Passengers can save auto details by scanning the QR code and seek police assistance in emergency situations in an awareness program organized on Saturday under the guidance of Medak Police to provide “MY AUTO IS SAFE” stickers with QR codes to auto drivers. Every auto driver will have to install a “MY AUTO IS SAFE” sticker with a QR code visible to passengers. This sticker is very useful for passengers in case of emergency. Scanning a QR code or taking a photo can help an auto when a passenger forgets an item while traveling in an auto.

In present situation everyone having smart phone scan the QR code and a link will appear and on clicking that link options of complaint, emergency, status, auto details will appear. Police help can be taken by dialing the number that comes, apart from this, after scanning the QR code, the complete details of the auto will be stored in the phone, which will make it easier for the police to solve any crime..

Medak SP said that it is very important for the drivers to be efficient in the work they do. Auto drivers do not participate in crimes, do not cooperate in crimes, because you move around the city, you know a lot, it is your duty to report crimes to the police and cooperate with them.

She said that everyone should have a driving license, those who do not have a license should not drive autos, and if there is anyone who does not have a license, the police can take their help to get the license. Do not carry passengers beyond the limit, She said; “Money is not important, passengers’ lives are important.”

In this program Medak DSP Saidulu, Medak Rural CI Vijay, Medak Town CI Venkatesham, Medak Rural SI Mohan Reddy, QR Code Nu Scan Manufacturer Ramesh Reddy and auto drivers were participated.
