Hyderabad : A total of 232 Pakistani nationals are currently residing in Telangana, said DGP Dr Jitender. Of them, 199 have been granted long-term visas, while 31 are on short-term visas. Following directions from the Union Home Ministry, police are focusing only on those with short-term visas. Notices have already been issued to some under the ‘Leave India’ directive.
The DGP added that those who entered India on health grounds have time till April 29 to leave, while the others must return by tomorrow. They will be allowed to exit the country via the Atal Border till April 30.
